From January 2000 until summer 2004's hurricane season, these "how-to" genealogy shows broadcast live on Tuesday evening and streamed over the internet. Now the shows are pre-recorded and available on the internet in a format called "podcasting."  People can tune in whenever they want by going to www.DearMYRTLE.com/listen.htm. The podcast can be downloaded using software such as iTunes, and can be listened to via computer or transferred to a portable .mp3 player such as an iPod.

Myrt's goal is to provide practical, down-to-earth advice to family historians.
