German Special Interest Group

The German Special Interest Group (G-SIG) is based in St. Louis and is jointly sponsored by the St. Louis Genealogical Society and the German American Heritage Society of St. Louis. The group has more than 500 members and holds quarterly meetings at which speakers address topics related to German genealogical research including background history, culture and traditions. Members receive a monthly electronic newsletter, the G-SIG Forum. Past issues of the G-SIG Forum are online at the St. Louis Genealogical Society Web site.
