Kansas Council of Genealogical Societies

Kansas Council of Genealogical Societies is an umbrella organization whose goal is to provide a forum in which the genealogical and historical societies of Kansas can communicate and share information. To this end we publish a quarterly and a monthly newsletter. In addition, we provide one seminar each year with one of the state organizations acting as host, where we bring in a nationally known speaker to provide an educational experience for those who attend.

We also publish our Forgotten Settlers of Kansas series and provide certificates to honor those of our Kansas ancestors who lived in this state in its early days. For more information and to join us on facebook, see our website at htpp://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/kcgs/index.html
