Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness
The Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness web site began as a regional site for others to volunteer their time to do leg work for genealogists who needed copies of documentation that could only be acquired by making a trip. The organization quickly grew into a large group of generous genealogists donating their time to help others across the country, and now across the globe.
As of April 2005, volunteers numbered around 4600 and were located in the U.S., Canada, Australia and 44 other countries around the world. RAOGK averages 8200 requests going through their system.
